  1. I love the Southwest. People just don’t seem to do things like this in other parts of the USA. The thoughts I had when reading your haiku were of the Journey of Death, the North/South overland trail in New Mexico, and maybe a place where water was left for the next traveller. I had a dream of such a place not long ago.
    Verty nice stuff here today.

  2. That is a beautiful stone and color and thought.

  3. What a lovely headstone. Lovely words, too. “Blue sky on my stone…”

  4. I love this so…I wish for blue sky on my stone when I journey on too…

  5. Interesting topic, but not one that I ever give much thought to. Great photo. Thanks for this.

    All the best, Boonie

  6. What a beautiful painted stone. I love your sentiment – how perfect.

  7. How unexpected. It’s like a rainbow living in the cemetary.

  8. O! I LOVE that, it reminds me of one of my poems I posted not too long ago! Have a SWEET week-end!

  9. perfect.
    we all need help
    on our life journey…

    heaven sent.
