Looking for comfort,
though she suspects there is none,
she turns to the hills.

I like this. Wide open spaces is good for head clearing:)
Good place to head, and “though she suspects there is none” resonates!
Despite her suspicion, I feel solitude offers a different kind of comfort sometimes.
Up in the hills with solitude for company , dancing to the winds it is comforting. I too love the hills.
Such lovely, clear blue skies! I love the feeling of solitude and quiet!! Great capture for the day!!
Beautiful blue sky.
Sydney – City and Suburbs
lovely photo.
A beautiful view. Comfort is more often than not found in nature’s beauty.
So wonderful hill view.
Gorgeous. Visited Sunset Crater years and years ago and was amazed — we stumbled across it, believe it or not. And to find the lava flow — wow. But … I suspect very LITTLE comfort in either location!
Sometimes… Solitude is all that is needed!
beautiful ! it happens to us too ! love your post !
Sloping off again?
More like slopping, I’m afraid! 😉

Salvation is in the hills. 🙂
There is something, well, mystical, about this one. Especially “she turns to the hills” – it resonates with me.
