Headstone
Yuma Pioneer Cemetery, Yuma, Arizona
even a headstone
shares too much information
about the deceased

I just don’t want to know…

Lol! This made me laugh! 🙂
Never thought of that. I guess headstones are the social media for the deceased. This person must have liked green.
I love the simplicity of this. The photo is wonderful.
This haiku… is very, very true, and very very blue… in more ways than one!
nice!!!
have a good weekend
much love…
Cracked and old like the person beneath, perhaps?
Definitely blue.
thank you for keeping the haiku fires burning in my absence. sadly since returning i have been severely ill and bed ridden. just now up since monday and trying to make a heartfelt visit with thanks and gratitude. xo
LOL….cynical:)
Wonderful shot. cracked open, grounded and loved.. turning blue as the sky..the deceased.
Odd how, they simultaneously fascinate and repel us, eh teacherman?
A headstone is the headline to the story of a life. Blimey, that was very profound for me!
Funeral parks, as my daughter has coined them, are far from my favorite places. But sometimes, intrigue happens.
Intrigue? Oh, my! 😉

the photo is wonderful, but I’m the opposite because I am curious. My momma’s nickname for me was “Miss Probe.” As a kid, I thought that it was not a mean-spirited nickname but proof that i was curious, and isn’t that how many illnesses have been cured? just sayin’
Nicely done! I was at a funeral this year where the headstone was an ols sewing machine encased in heavy plastic.
Hmm…
too much perhaps, but historians salivate for more:)
I’ve not seen a headstone quite like that before! Obviously someone who liked to stand out from the crowd. 🙂
The deceased is a blue fan?
Maybe so!

I always like to read inscriptions and think about the person. Thanks for playing today.
Happy Blue Monday!
Not sure just what your words mean…but, it’s a very cool photo. 🙂
I like the share and your haiku too! I am not very worldly and I often wondered, even as a child, why doe people spend so much money for ornate grave markers when the deceased will never know it is there? Hmmmm…… A great blue share and always my pleasure to visit you here.
I don’t think I have ever seen a blue marker at a cemetery… and certainly not one as large as this one.
