Jerry Kilbride’s haiku about a wheelchair child inspires me to write a new haiku about a child in a mask:

 

the wheelchair child
reaches for bubbles
she just blew

 
~~ ~~ ~~
 


With her magic mask,
a girl sees fiery comets
whooshing through the streets.
