Wind, relentless wind!
I’m rattled by the padlock
swinging to and fro.

  1. Lisa at Greenbow

If your padlock is rattling that is a brisk wind. Whew….

  2. Please don’t be rattled. 🙂

  3. Just maybe… the wind will break that padlock…

  4. a gale blows fiercely
trees sway and bow, branches crack
    banshee winds howl

  5. Nice to know that I am not the only one that likes to take photographs of things that catch my eye such as locks at a museum or garden.

  6. The wind can be so frightening, trees bend and limbs break, but all is well with the gentle breeze returns! Thank you for this haiku and have a happy 4th of July!

  7. It seems that wind is the thought of the day.

  8. Strange how the simplest of things can get to one.

  9. That must be a hard wind like we have here today (but I have no padlock hanging… ) I like the sound of the wind – it feels comforting somehow. Happy 4th of July, enjoy your weekend!

  10. here in the southwest the monsoons are dreadfully late and the wind just won’t stop! sadly there are a million more reasons to be rattled. may we all find peace soon. may we all stay safe as we pray for a blue november.
