I wonder how old that Cholla is to have such a large trunk etc. The shadow is fine.

I agree-a strange looking tree. It looks like it was hot when this photo was taken. We are still soggy wet here. Seems like a never ending winter for us!
The first I’ve seen this type of tree – I would like to study one in person – quite unique.
