Blue Monday & Ruby Tuesday Too: Pandemic Art

DSC_0200
Brightly painted stones can be found at the Robert J. Moody Demonstration Garden, Yuma, Arizona. One photo, two memes.

Perhaps these stones were painted by someone who foresaw
The plague that’s pounced upon us with sharpened tooth and claw.
Perhaps graffiti artists will take a hint or two
Before they spray pandemic art, messing up the view!

  1. Lovely set of painted stones, we are always on the lookout for suitable ones to collect and paint back home!

  2. My grandchildren enjoy painting rocks and leaving them for others to find. It’s a fun hobby!

  4. The one with the feather hat is too cute!

  5. Oh lovely painted stones. I sure admire your creativity. HUGS

  6. A motley crew working it out together.

  7. Decorating pebbles and stones was a fad years ago on my family too. As they have lifted the Covid virus restictions on beaches here now I wonder whether pebbles will hope for a high tide to avoid being separated from their friends?

  8. Oh I definitely would rather encounter acres/ bushels/ boatloads of these beauties than have my eyes assaulted by some giant three-story-tall skeleton on some building’s wall. Thanks!

  9. They are absolutely stunning!! 💝

  10. Non-intrusive art is certainly more appealing. Love the smiley stones.

  11. Yes! Yes! We never want to diminish the beauty and whimsy of this rock art!

  12. Beverly Crawford

Fun addition to the gardens. I love rock art.

  13. Susie Clevenger

    Love the rock art
