Shoe Tree
Tree hung with shoes near the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Southern California
For the roadside tree
bereft of leaf and blossom,
spring can’t come too soon.

Interesting !
what a stretch of bare road, and the sky is just awesome,
much love…
Yes once the leaves leave.. the three wan’t them to return.
love the haiku and the picture! ;0)
What a great shot! once the leaves are fallen, the bareness makes us long for Spring until the first snowfall here, then the trees are pretty with snow and icicles.
And shoes! 😉

Glad the shoes at least can keep the lonely tree company 🙂
I’ve heard and read some an urban rummer or two about shoes and trees…
I think I would rather have the shoes donated to other feet or even recycled into park benches.
Nice and so true!
An eyesore.First it is shoes then who knows what next…bras? 🙂
I think that’s the way it goes!

Hanging shoes from trees and wires around here is indicative of drug-related in area … but has many suggestions of origin … I find it interesting as I do seeing one shoe in a parking lot or highway. 😀
